With so many people whose voice counts in the FFF (Michel Platini, Aimé Jacquet, Gerard Houllier not to mention Vieira, Sagnol and Ribéry) trying to explain how 2 years is short to prepare a World Cup, they're going to make this guy the longest standing french National Team coach ever. Plus money really isn't an option when you see that he was not that well paid in comparison to Donadoni They’re going to keep him. The players who are in favor of him staying of course do not want to stick their necks out and say the truth about him and his style of play. They are deeply embedded in his system and owe him their respective international careers. To me that is why a fresh start with someone new is inevitable. The FFF should just bite the bullet on the balance of his salary as the Italians did with Donadoni and finally do the right thing. Where's all the Nike money for the new jersey and equipment contract???? It can't all be spent by now..Two years is a long time to establish a new system and get a group to gel. He is a coward when it comes to attacking football.
