Strasbourg are going to have a bigger and better stadium.

Another piece of good news for Ligue 1 so I thought I would mention it here. Hopefully they will return back to Ligue 1 soon and stay there.

I hope Bordeaux makes it to next stages of UCL along with Lyon. Two French clubs in round of 16 will be nice. As much as I love Marseille I know they will screw up and end in uefa cup. They need to keep a tight hold on their players and look for better replacements if anyone leaves.

Well Steve, besides Lloris and Pjanic, Lyon have not gotten the best prospects in France yet. Lorient got Gamiero which is a big coup for them as he has alot of potential, while Bordeaux have gotten one great player and another proespect should join them in Gouffran. Its still early in the window, but Lyon has all the talent they can get, so other teams can certainly pick up some good players. But if Lyon is always winning and in the CL, then why wouldnt young players want to play for them? Other French league teams need to look at Lyon's example and follow suit, because it they do then France can be dominant in Europe once again. And it wont be a one horse race for the title every year

I am tired of seeing best prospect in France goin to Lyon. Does anybody there have a sense of loyalty to their clubs? I know that players want to win trophys but is it fair to keep making the same team better and better?

As a fan of Bordeaux, I'm pleased with the plans for next season. Blanc has already proved he has a good eye for new signings, with his 3 excellent purchases last season. Chalme and Diara were among our best players, and Bellion had a good first half of the season. All of them arrived for quite cheap prices.

Now the signing of Gourcuff is exactly what we needed, to add some creativity for our midfield. The only urgent thing left is to get a central defender (Diawara is terrible, Henrique and Planus haven't recovered well from their injuries, so the rumors about Silvestre are encouraging.

If it continues like that, Bordeaux can get the second place in the league again, and maybe qualifying for 1/8 finals of the champions league.
