Depressingly frustrating and tragic

This is just what Paris Saint-Germain needed at this time. Not only are they currently on a bad streak both on the pitch and in the front offices, a totally uncalled for and stupid event happened after the club’s 4-2 home loss against Hapoel Tel-Aviv. After spotting a gang of Parisian supporters beating up a Jewish man and directing antisemitic remarks at him, a black police officer tried to break up the fight, but ended up shooting and killing one of the men, as well as critically injuring one.
It is unclear at this time whether the man was a French Jew or an Israeli supporter, but his faith and/or skin colour were the definite factors of the attack.
According to footmercato.net, a French website, after the match, around 11 p.m., a group of men from the Ultras group violently accosted an Israeli. An off-duty carribean-origin police officer tried to help the Hapoel Tel Aviv fan. Due to the outnumbering, he proceeded to throw tear gas and then, sensing the need, opened fire. The police officer was alledgedly called a “filthy black” and was threatened as well.
Bertrand Delanoé, the mayor of Paris, expressed that events like this stress the importance to extend the zero tolerance policy on racism as to Parisian supporters.
Boulogne Boys 85, Paris’ well-known far-right Ultras group, strike again.
I’ll have more news as to the consequences, but I’m sure a hefty fine and a few closed-off games will be the minimum.
The least we can say is that this kind of disgusting behaviour has no place in the game.
Pictured are the Boulogne Boys, featuring a few of them showing a nazi salute. Sorry, I have a picture-posting problem so all my pictures are posted as thumbnails.

It’s really disheartening when a few bad apples give a wonderful sport like soccer a bad name!

I do think this is a huge problem. The few bad apples are not few anymore. This is a growing epidemic and it has been around for a long time. They clubs hate the media and the media knows it, and the clubs beat the living **** out of the people that go to the clubs bars to get information about it.
As for Bob Dole from canada, he obviously represents the intelligence factor.Posted from
