Goal of the Week Competition: Round 4

By: Sam | August 19th, 2007

Welly welly well: Wouldn’t you know it, last week’s round finished in a dead heat between Gameiro and Bellion! Who knew. And boy-oh-boy do I have some groovy stuff for you this week kids: In fact, it doesn’t get much more groovy than this. Here are the candidates for this week, in order of distance their hometown is from my house.

MARAMA VAHIRUA (Lorient) pounced on Grosso’s mistake and acrobatically converted from the top of the area.

GRAFITE (Le Mans) did what!?

ERIC MOULOUNGUI (Strasbourg) hammered in the finish for this great team goal, Totti-style.

Final results

Marama Vahirua 18%

Grafite 76%

Eric Mouloungui 6%

Grafite! Don’t know if I ever saw a backheel goal remotely similar to that one.
