Goal of the Week: Round 8

Finally, some club football after international week. And you know what that means… Goal of the Week on France Offside! Nené picked up last week’s honours with his whizzing free-kick, but that’s not important right now. For there are new candidates for this week, in order of the coolness of the stadium in which the goal was scored.

ILAN (Saint-Étienne) teamed up with Batéfimbi Gomis and scored following this remarkable one-touch demonstration against Caen.

JUNINHO (Lyon) had Marichez shrugging his shoulders after this knuckleball-like free-kick from far out.

JÉRÉMY MENEZ (Monaco) curved, and I do mean curved, the hell out of this free-kick late in his side’s match against Paris.
