In fact, things are looking good for Marseille as they reorganize their squad, get rid of excess baggage (Maoulida, Cantereil), and bring in players who get the job done. I don’t know if they can keep up for the entire season, but there won’t be a huge point gap between first and second any longer, and for that I’m glad. I want Marseille to do well so that the league becomes more credible.
