Matchday 15: Saturday Highlights
By: Thomas | November 28th, 2009LOSC Lille 4-0 Valenciennes FC
Lille completely dominated Valenciennes to continue their surge up the table lead by a brace from Gervinho. The dribble leading to the second goal was classic for the Ivorian striker, who also had two exceedingly easy chances that went begging. The assistant referee “injury” was simply hilarious (2:03 in the video). A lovely highlight reel.
FC Lorient 2-2 Grenoble Foot 38
Grenoble should have grabbed their first win of the season in this match against heavily favored FC Lorient. Lorient went ahead through an own goal by GF38 defender Bostjan Cesar, but the lead up to the play should have been called for offside. Grenoble scored two goals to take the lead only to be pegged back in injury time by a wrongly allowed goal from Gameiro that should have been called for offside.
PSG 1-0 Auxerre

FC Sochaux 1-0 OGC Nice
Nice completely dominated the match, particularly impressive was Anthony Mounier, who looks to be an excellent winger and quite the steal for OGCN. Anyway, Sochaux “scored” the only goal of the match, although Yassin Mikari said at halftime he didn’t really think it had gone in. Nice had a goal controversially disallowed for offside late on and Sochaux grabbed the three points from under the Cote d’Azur side’s nose.
