Hey Thomas, that’s not fair, #5 is so small you can barely see his face! (But I know who this is because there is one missing and it is the beautiful Nice coach)
3. Christophe Galtier, ASSE, used to be asst. coach of Lyon. Also his son plays in the Bordeaux youth team. He was defender for OM in his playing career. He also played in the Chinese league before. Don’t ask me why I know this so well.
4. Wally (can’t remember the full name), Lens
5. Nice’s coach. Didier…something. You should have used a better picture because he is quite attractive.
6. OL’s Claude Puel. Coached Lille before moving to OL. He has only played for one club in his career and it’s Monaco.
7. PSG’s Kombouare
9. Christian Gourcuff, Lorient. Dad to midfield extraordinaire. He has played in Montreal (CANADA!!!) before, and also for Lorient.
11. Dider Deschamps of OM. He’s played for Bordeaux for one season. Coached Juve right after Moggiopoli before going to OM.
18. Guy Lacombe, of Monaco. I swear he’s coached like half the clubs in L1. He was with Rennes before Monaco and PSG before that.
19. Blaaaaanc. Do I need to elaborate? Coach of the year and defended for United, Inter, Barca. He’s never managed any club before Bordeaux and will never coach another club OR COUNTRY after Bordeaux.Ahh, I give up. Some of them look so familiar but I can’t connect face to club

Come on guys. Two responses on an easy quiz is pathetic.

This one was tricky!!
1. René Girard, the man behind Montpellier’s amazing run.
2.
3.
4. Jean-Guy Wallemme, spent a looooong time at Lens as a player.
5.
6. Claude Puel, played for AS Monaco for an eternity (a legend of the club). I know he was coach of Lille during that (in)famous Giggs free-kick incident.
7. Antoine Kombouaré, ex-Valenciennes coach.
8. Laurent Guyot of Boulogne, spent a long time at Nantes as a player.
9. Christian Gourcuf… Yoann’s dad!
10. Coach of Le Tef, Alain Casanova. The man with the best last name…. ever! Haha, don’t know anything about him, including whether or not he’s related to THE Casanova.
11. Didier Deschamps, legend of Juve (won 3 scudetti as a player) and of course, led them back to Serie A après-calciopolli.
12. Mehmed Baždarević, legend of FK Željezničar, the Grbavica neighborhood of Sarajevo and ex-Yugoslavia in general. Not sure if he coached anyone notable…
13.
14. Pablo Correa, long-time coach of Nancy.
15. Jean Fernandez of Auxerre…. I know Ribery supposedly looked up to/worshipped him.
16.
17. Antonetti of Rennes.
18. Guy Lacombe, (and his moustache) of course!
19. Laurent Blanc, I believe he’s the first player ever to score a golden goal in a World Cup (France 1998). Ex: Barca, l’OM, Inter, Man.U = legend!
20. Rudi Garcia @ Lille = fired, hired, fired, hired, etc.

Is it just me or does Christian Gourcuff look a lot like Wenger in that picture?

I would like to edit my previous post, after the Classico, as follows:
7. Antoine Kombouaré, ex-Valenciennes coach, (hopefully) soon to be ex-PSG coach.
The man is just not at the level of tactical proficiency that PSG need now (have needed for the past x years). Likewise, he doesn’t seem to have the ability to inspire his players and control all the would-be prima-donnas. He was so badly outplayed (tactically) by Dechamps, it’s not even funny. Did not make the substitutions when he should have and when he did, he made the wrong ones.
Just to tie onto the above… Erding…. ? What a joke… most definitely NOT worthy of a PSG shirt. Would make a great Ligue 2. striker though.
*insert vomit-smiley here*
