Transfer Gossip !?!

Lots of stuff goin on this week as the winter market is winding down, so here we go.

- Sergio Almiron has moved on loan to Monaco from Juve. Obviously looking for may playing time, he will have to compete with nobody for it, as Monaco’s central midfield could use a player like him.

- Auxerre have signed Robert Popov from Litex. He is a center back, thats all I know about him, Auxerre need all the help they can get as they sit in the relegation zone, eeek!

- Henri Saivet, my favorite young Frenchmen of Senegalese decent born in Paris and playing for Bordeuax, is being tracked by Barca who see him as the new Etoo. Well, I can disagree, but sometimes I wonder if big clubs spy on my Football Manager career where I sign all of these young guys. Anyways, here is some highlights of him and another young man with alot of talent, Eden Hazard, who made his Ligue 1 debut last weekend for Lille:

- Ricardo Faty is back in France after a brief loan spell at Leverkuesen, this time Roma pawning him off the Nantes for the remainder of the season. I really hope all these moves dont effect his career, he has a ton of potential as a DM.

- Marcelo Gallardo has left PSG, with Red Bulls New York the reported next destination. Hmm, we will see.

- Cheikh Gueye, one of many Gueye’s on Metz’s books, has been signed by Auxerre. Another defensive reinforcement, he is to me a carbon copy of Baki Sagna. So good luck to him, at 21 he has the world at his feet.

- Lyon look to have completed the deal for Jean-Alain Boumsong. Why do you ask? I dont know, but he is coming back to France where he will hope to revive his tarnishing rep as a crappy defender. Look for him to go straight into the Lyon lineup as Muller, Cris and now Anderson are all out injured. And look for a few glaring mistakes.

- Also with Lyon, Jean Mimi Aulas has declared he wants to see Honorato Ederson in a Lyon jersey soon, probably next year, and that Lyon and Nice are locked in negotiations for him. Good move - bad move seems to be the case over at Lyon this winter market.
