Transfer Time: The mystery that is Oguchi Onyewu

Today, Bob wrote in his daily transfer article about American defender Oguchi “Gooch” Onyewu’s certain transfer to Marseille, according to one site. If that’s the case, that’s just great!

But when I browsed my usual sites to find out further, nothing came up regarding the Standard de Liège man. Hmmm… I smell unfounded rumours…

But this is definitely something to look after, I’ll be posting if an article, any article about this floats under my nose.

  totally agree on the Onyewu observation. I get the feeling something is brewing and after I was convinced of him going to Marselli, I am no longer sure. Now I am hearing he would prefer to play in the EPL. This is one of the strangest transfer stories to come along this particular window. It seems that he is doing a lot of negotiating for a player who is still young and has not really proven himself on the big stage. Lets see what happens.
