More kits! Get’em while they’re hot! Here’s the second installment of the Ligue 1 top show.

LILLE: Think Auxerre, but red. Again, they’re simple and solid, with that wavy line going down the side. Hasn’t changed much over the years, but then again it doesnR17;t need to. And the Partouche goes well with it all. I dunno, I kinda like them. Sam sez: B+

LORIENT: Love ‘em. First of all, in my book, Orange = respect (Me, obsessed with a certain Stanley Kubrick movie?). The right shoulder also has a nice design to it, and you canR17;t dislike the subtle logo on the away shirt. More clubs need to contact Errea. Sam sez: A

LYON: To be honest, I didn’t like these two at all when they first came out, but I’ve somewhat warmed up to them at this point. I prefer the stripe where it is now rather than in the middle. But I just can’t get along with the gold. I just can’t. ItR17;s not pretty. And Ticket Resto is kind of funny to see on a football shirt. Sam sez: B-

MARSEILLE: Every year, they’re nicer. Note the wiping-out of the “telecom” part on the chest. The design is impeccable, and the away shirt is innovative and well carried out. Then again they’re lucky IR17;m not talking about their Europe shirts. Sam sez: A
-
-

METZ: Meh. Very much meh. There’s nothing blasphemous about these two, but at the same time nothing at all to point out. Plus, brown isn’t really attractive. TheyR17;re alright, I guess. But certainly nothing more. Sam sez: C
There’s your batch for today then: Feel free to contradict me. Tomorrow you’ll have a gander at Monaco, Nancy, Nice, PSG and Rennes. Until, then, Allez lR17;OM against Buh-shik-tosh!

Sometimes the orange looks like it’s pink. If it were Lorient orange, I’d bite.

Yeah I know they look like Dallas’s orange. It’s more salmon than anything.
And Shaz, apparently, the orange jersey is the biggest seller in France period. It hasn’t nearly sold as much as Paris’s Vuitton jersey but Adidas are pretty happy with it.Posted from

Bummer that Airness lost Fulham. They make a pretty good shirt I feel.
