Ribéry ain’t going nowhere
By: Sam | November 17th, 2006After much speculation and media-influenced babbling, the newly sidelined Franck Ribéry has once again written in stone that he will stay in Marseille, at least for the rest of the season. Now, how many weeks until he changes his mind? We just can’t wait.
This week, after a particularly irritating interview, Ribéry burst out a sarcastic third-person spree in order to shut up a few reporters.
Said Ribéry (translated from French): Ribéry is hurt, he has a groin injury. He has to rest, he is resting. If it has to be for two weeks, it’ll be for two weeks. If it has to be for a month, it’ll be for a month. That’s not a reason to start asking questions like, does Ribéry want to leave the club? No I’m here, I will be for the rest of the season and we’ll answer those questions after that’s done.
