Paris wants you as a fan, Lyon wants you as an attacker

The two richest clubs in the country are in two very different pickles lately. One is suffering a horrible season, is having fatal hooligan problems, and has everyone hating the coach. Look no further than Paris Saint-Germain. The other is virtually guaranteed to finish in first place, and looks to achieve some very respectable (and plausible) results in the latter stages of the UEFA Champions League. Yes, Lyon. Oh, and their four best strikers are hurt.
Alain Cayzac, befuddled by his team’s troubles, cried out to the world before PSG’s game Sunday. Said Cayzac (translated from French): I won’t generalize as to the supporters. There are hardly 500 people that wreak havoc at Parc des Princes, and 40 000 others that are there to support PSG on game nights. And it is to them that I plead for help! Help me remake Parc des Princes a family-friendly place. Help me eliminate those that give the club a bad image. The next few days will be vital, and it is time to mobilize and show everyone that PSG deserves respect.
This fellow just gets more desperate every day. PSG are digging their hole, on the pitch and in the front offices. Follow Cayzac’s advice, because seriously, anything helps at this point.
Now for the Lyon dillema. With Benzema, Carew and Fred injured, Govou was making his return from, you guessed it, injury this week. No, he didn’t hurt himself again, but the next in line, Wiltord, did. A thigh injury will have the French international sit out until the new year. The powerhouse will likely field Govou and Ben Arfa up front. But at this rate, they just might have to abandon the 14-point cushion they are currently sitting on.
